Sister Frankie has enjoyed art since childhood. After working with several different media, she came to love watercolor the best. This medium defies precise control yet yields wonderful results when we are able to let go. She thinks of watercolor as a lesson for living - when the water and the paint take off on their own and we feel that we are not in control. However, this is where the unexpected becomes better than what we had originally planned. Watercolor teaches us that beauty often emerges when we stop struggling for control in our lives.
