Ministry of the Arts (MOTA) is a ministry sponsored by the Congregation of St. Joseph in La Grange Park, IL. We came into being a few years after our annual Calendar was first advertised on a one-page flyer in 1986. By 1994, we offered cards, music, and sculptures published in a catalog format. As the world evolved, we realized we needed to evolve as well. After careful consideration we closed our store and converted to an all digital model in 2021. Our vision has and always will be to bring hope and healing to the world through the Arts.
In order to make our artwork more widely accessible to people everywhere, we no longer offer physical products. All of our art and music are available for free digitally.
At this time only our artwork and music are available digitally. However, you are able to use our artwork and music to create your own cards if you wish.
Yes! Our calendars are still available and are also available for free! (Limit 2). If you are interested in receiving a calendar please email communications@csjoseph.org
All of Sr. Kathy’s music is now available for digital download! You can find it both on our website as well as many music streaming services like Apple Music, Spotify, and iTunes. If you need a copy of the sheet music or lyrics, please email us at mota@csjoseph.org
Browse the website and if you see a piece of art or music you’d like please add it to your cart. When finished, click on your cart and follow the check out process. There is no charge for any of the artwork!
If you are publishing a book and would like to use our art, please contact us directly at mota@csjoseph.org.
We are asking all who use our art to sign a Copyright License Agreement. This is to protect our artists and their work and make sure that the use of their work follows in accordance with our mission and values.
Yes. We are requiring all who request our art to sign an agreement.
There are lots of different ways to print your art! You can always print at home or send it to a photo printing place like Walgreens, CVS, or other local printer. There are also plenty of online sites that can be used as well. For any questions please contact us at mota@csjoseph.org
Once you submit your order someone from our team will review your request and will then email you the artwork. We always send a high resolution image so that it can easily be resized to fit your needs.
