Aware of the power of the arts to heal, beautify, and transform consciousness, and aware of the world’s need for these gifts now more than ever, Ministry of the Arts has created select digital downloadable cards to send to elected officials, organizations and others in power urging them to call for the passage of laws that will ban assault weapons, require universal background checks for all gun sales, provide funding for gun violence prevention research, and make the trafficking in weapons a federal crime.

We pray for change and for those who have lost their lives to or have been affected by gun violence. It is our hope that our art and music will serve as a catalyst for the rising up of greater love, unity, justice and community wherever they find a home.
Ministry of the Arts (MOTA) is a ministry sponsored by the Congregation of Saint Joseph.

Print quality will depend on the printer and paper used. For best results when printing at home, we recommend printing on a card stock or heavy weight paper. The card is designed to be 5 ½ x 8 ½ when folded. Normal paper is fine, but the sizing will be off. You can also use Avery Half-Fold Greeting Cards Product #3265 which can be found anywhere printing supplies are sold.

If you plan on mailing the cards, a size A-9 envelope should fit.
