The scene depicted within the card in meant to symbolize the love felt throughout the world at Jesus’ birth. I omitted the faces of each subject so as to build a sense of connection between the viewers and the scene. The card as a whole is meant to express the intimacy and awe, felt by Jesus’ earthly parents as they hold their son and the light of the world.
